--- August 14, 2009: V2Bot Build 20090814 is released. Time Restrictions Inputs are added. Documentation page is updated. All new Inputs from several past updates are documented there now. --- August 13, 2009: V2Bot Build 20090813 is released. What's in this release: 1. Information display is added to the top-right corner of the screen (see the screenshots below). 2. It came to my attention that some ECN type brokers are not auto-detected by v2bot, so I have added a new Input named "ECNBroker". So, if your broker is of ECN Type, just set this Input to "true". The updates will be sent to all customers by email by the end of today. If you won't receive an update by tomorrow morning, please email me. August 04, 2009: V2Bot Build 20090804 is released. What's in this release: I just updated v2bot because of the very important issue - some real accounts were not reported authorized due to the software bug. I am sending emails to the customers right now with the fixed file. All you need to to do is to replace your existing v2b-ea.ex4 file with the attached one. The error did not affect Demo accounts, but for your assurance, it's better to update your file as well. If you are the paid customer and did not receive the update by 4pm EST today, please contact me by email. All you need to to do is to replace your existing v2b-ea.ex4 file with the attached one. July 18, 2009:
V2Bot Build 20090717 is released.
What's in this release:
1. I fixed the problem with Brokers like One Corp FX and others which do not allow to place initial Stop and Profit levels at the moment of the order placement. New build detects such broker and uses two-step procedure: it places the order and then immedially modifies the stop and profit levels to the correspondent values.
2. I have added comments on the order placement, so the user can move mouse over an order on chart and see that it was placed by v2bot.
3. I also have added more detailed information about work of the EA to be printed at the "Experts" Tab of the Terminal, especially startup info sometimes required to quickly resolve possible problems with the environment and settings.
4. New Inputs are added: "SizeStep" and "ClosePortion". Default values for both of them equal to 1. What do they do? This is related to the behaviour of Jumping Stop. The previous version always closed the portions of the position by 1 whole lot, but most MT4 brokers now allow to trade 0.1 and even 0.01 lots, so the Jumping Stop did not perform well on the small accounts when it always opened 1 or 2 lots and then closed it without gaining much profit. The SizeStep can be equal to either 1, 0.1 or 0.01. The ClosePortion should be integer, equal or higher than 1. So, let's say you set SizeStep to 0.1 and ClosePortion to 5. Then, when the Jumping Stop will move to a new profit level, it will close 0.5 lots (SizeStep multiplied by ClosePortion), and so on, and only the last 0.5 lots will be closed by the final stop order. I will send the new build to the customers before the opening of new session Sunday. If you won't receive it from me by then, please email me. |
