Ahlan wa sahlan,

Welcome to my home page.

I am a lecturer at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Kuliyyah of Medicine, International Islamic University Malaysia, Kuantan. I am also a full time practicing clinical specialist in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan.

As a lecturer at IIUM, we are expected to perform 6 duties namely; teaching, research, publication, administration, consultancy,  and community service. These duties should be equally balanced in our daily practice....especially for the purpose of the advancement of our career! After almost 1 and a half year being a lecturer, I realise that certain aspects of these duties has been totally neglected by me. I am hoping that this website would be a platform for me to put these things into perspective.

Nevertheless, teaching being my passion, I plan to develop this website into a teaching tool for myself and also for my students. Way to life-long learning!
