 Welcome to the Draycote Laser Homepage. Draycote Water has a strong and ever growing fleet after something of a renaissance in the last few years. This is shown by the number of boats seen out on Wednesday evenings and the first race on Sundays. Throughout the fleet there is close sailing and completion for places, whatever the weather. The Laser is a cheap and fun way of starting competitive sailing at the club and provides an excellent platform for new members to join a sociable fleet. LATEST NEWS: 2011 Wednesday evening results now in: This year was our best ever! We are now the biggest fleet on a Wednesday by a big margin with 15 or so Lasers lining up to start and rumours abound of other club members contemplating buying a laser to join in the fun! Many thanks to the sail committee for recognising the success of the Laser fleet in attracting sailing members and for arranging for our own start on Wednesdays.
