The Chorlton Triathlon "Controversy" (Saturday 13th June) ![]() Dragons had three individuals and one relay team (of 3) competing in the Chorlton X Sprint Triathlon on a gloriously sunny weekend. This consisted of 750m swim, 12.5km bike and 5k run in and around Chorlton water park. The picture show's us proudly clutching our medals; Nicole (3rd Female) and Tri-Paul (1st relay team). During the presentation ceremony there were already mumblings that something was not right. The official (provisional) results now show Nicole as 4th and Tri-Paul as second, discussions with the organisers are ongoing as they have not release any split times. Regardless of the results, a great day was had by everyone who competed, supported and celebrated with a cold beer at Jackson's Boat afterwards! For more pictures click here (thanks Rob). The final results are now published on the Uberfit website and Nicole is back in 3rd position !!! For the full race report click here. |
