About Me

My name is David Pagett.  I live in Birmingham, England where light polution is a constant problem but it has not stopped me trying to capture some of the wonders of the night sky!

These pages will contain some of the images I have created and also detail my equiptment and some of the modifications I have made.

Telescope Motorisation Project

I have been motorising my 12" Dobsonian Reflector for the past 12 months or so. Follow the link to view the project. I based the design on Mel Bartels ideas. 

He has made freely available, a fantastic piece of software to control a telescope. He has also made schematics for the electronics freely available.
