District PAC’s role:
Ø To provide PACs with any information provided by the Board of Education Ø To disseminate information about district policies, programs and activities to parents, in a timely manner, as it becomes available. Ø To advise the Board of Trustees on parental views about the district’s programs and policies, through standing / ad-hoc committees / consultation. Ø To provide relevant education opportunities and organizational support to parents, through conferences and workshops. Ø To liaise between parents, education partners, other community organizations. Ø To assist and facilitate parents and PACs in accessing the system, through the provision of information regarding policy, processes, resources and contacts. |
