Welcome to Dover First! We're glad you're here!
Dover First United Methodist Church is located in the beautiful Tuscarawas Valley of east-central Ohio. A succession of moves and upgrades over the years led us to our present building on North Wooster Avenue.
Our original church was established in 1832, with a simple, one-story frame structure erected in 1833. A newer brick church was erected in 1872, another was constructed in 1905, and our present church building was consecrated on May 18, 1958.
