The sickness started when I was 15 looking for a Jeep. Didn't matter what it was, just so it was a Jeep. Well the first was a 1946 CJ-2A found in a cornfield for the price of $0. I know, free is a pretty good deal.
The second Jeep was my '85 CJ-7 Renegade. Stock with 258 I6, T-5 tranny, and dana 300. Two years of rebuilding from ground up it was done, or so I thought.
4" Skyjacker Lift
Fiberglass Tub
33" General Grabbers
3 T-5 %^&@# trannys
258 bored .030, crane cam, webber carb, HEI dizzy.
But the saga never ends, I came upon an AMC 360, T-18 tranny, and dana 20 transfer case. Well here we go again. The sickness never ends. It's like the plague, if you do not want to catch it never buy a Jeep.
