A glimpse into the professional world of a theoretical physicist.
Welcome to the homepage of Doron L. Bergman, Physics PhD
A little about me:
I am currently the Sherman Fairchild prize postdoctoral fellow at the CalTechdivision of Physics, Mathematics and Astronomy (http://www.pma.caltech.edu/),
in the condensed matter theory group (http://www.cmp.caltech.edu/CMT/cmt.html).
During 2010-2011 I was serving as the executive chair of the Caltech postdoc association (http://www.cpa.caltech.edu/).
Previously, I was a postdoctoral associate at the Yale Physics Department (http://www.yale.edu/physics/), working with Prof. Karyn Le Hur (http://www.yale.edu/lehurgroup/).
Prior to this I was a graduate student in the University of California, Santa Barbara physics department
(http://www.physics.ucsb.edu/), where I was working with Prof. Leon Balents (http://www.physics.ucsb.edu/~balents/).
My undergraduate education took place at Tel Aviv Univeristy in Israel (http://www.tau.ac.il/index-eng.html), where I earned two B.Sc.'s, both Magna Cum Laude, in Physics and Computer Science.
Before that I was in an experimental high-school education program, the "Ramot" project, which allowed me to graduate from high school at the end of 10th grade.
