INTRODUCTION< xml="true" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" prefix="o" namespace="">

Forget the complex techniques – hidden pairs, naked pairs, x-y wings, forcing chains, etc.  These are all hard to find and see.  The methods you will learn in the following text will simplify your search for solutions.  Puzzles that took you hours to solve will be revealed in half the time.  You will learn to minimize the number of pencil marks in cells to 2 or 3 numbers.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

My thanks go to Marge LaFrance for all the detailed and careful editing.  There are many stumbling blocks in back-tracking through these solutions.   Marge was invaluable.
