Children's parliaments
Children's parliaments have education for democracy and participation of children in society. And it is nowhere and never, as at Children's Parliament also heard so many critical, sincere and well-meaning initiatives and proposals for the healthy development and successful development of children and young people.
Culture of dialogue, tolerance, constructive, criticism - all this from the mouths of children sounds so very simple, human-friendly. Children are really small, but significant in their sincere views on life and proposals for a brighter future. Just listen to the policies followed by the designers.
This year's theme is an expression of the needs of children - talk. The interpersonal relationships, boyfriend girlfriend relationship, love, sexuality. Talk about the fundamental issues affecting the life of a young man. Talk at home, at school, with people on specific issues may offer a concrete answer.

My attitude towards the conservation of nature and its plant diversity
The project "My attitude towards the conservation of nature and its plant diversity", in collaboration with the botanical garden, Ljubljana. Slovenia, with its relatively small area (20,256 km2) offers a great multitude. This is what gives it a special charm in Europe. Because of the influence of the Alps, the Pannonian Plain, the Dinaric chain, sea, and all crossings between the two effects, its biodiversity is extremely high. Living in such an interesting and beautiful environment is a very heavy responsibility. This is all too aware, in particular, we know that the wealth too. Even today, judging by the diversity of our living world in a single world leader, this may change if slovenian nature will not receive appropriate care. Only some sort of validation or protected areas are not yet a definitive solution. Perhaps the random walk after the Ljubljana Marshes great lover of nature, but he will also take with you a bunch marsh snakes, because they know that this plant is one of our vulnerable species. The goal is therefore necessary to intervene in various ways with as much information as nature conservation areas, educate and train them, that we will achieve desired objectives.

Science knowledge and science of culture is not enough to properly appreciate their environment and were proud of him. This is evident in relation to the environment at different levels of human activity. Botanical gardens

The Botanical Garden in Ljubljana organize different types of training, guided tours, lectures and workshops. Preparation workshops for adults and children.

By learning to success
Every child wants to be accepted, happy, prosperous. Learning success. But, unfortunately, not given to everyone. Also on the academic achievement of pupils affected by the family situation, social weakness, the child's teacher attitudes, school environment, friends ...

Often and many people are stuck in primary school.
That is why we, many years ago, in space and time put the project on the knowledge to success. For them, children, students who can not manage and they can learn the appropriate skills to enable them raise their self-esteem and enable them to successfully move forward, we offer children educational and psychosocial support. We help them if they have learning problems, difficulty in understanding the problems at home, the lack of amenities or problems growing up. Wherever we are children, youth volunteers, Friends Moste Ljubljana Polje, in the project with skills for success.
For the second decade, therefore, carried out project after Ljubljana primary schools, there is also what I Secondary School. Also included in it a year and thousands more children. And all volunteers receive free teaching attention and other assistance, dotted with successes. At school, society, life in general.
Help volunteers conducted a free educational assistance, instruction, and - as we said psychosocial and material support. Also take the form of weekly and multi-day camps in the mountains, the sea beyond. The free holiday trips, discovering and developing talent - especially education neglected, socially weak children in music and other schools. The involvement of children and young people and students in various sports, because through them become successful young people ..
And so every school year especially we step into the lives of children, students, young people who need us. At school, home, society. Simply equip them for life, which opens wide its doors.


Reading Badge

A free educational assistance
It is an effective form of psychosocial support to children with low self-esteem and low learning achievements in the project volunteers help the children to academic achievement, while discovering the dark side of life at home, school or society.
All children need more individual help, because their personal problems are so great that becoming asocial, impatient, aggressive. When volunteers find the right speaker, which you can trust, we learn too much and anomalies of the company. You can safely say that children's rights are increasingly violated, especially in family settings. The success of the project is remarkable.
Conducted at 18 primary and two secondary schools in Ljubljana and its surroundings. Also takes place individually. It offers about 46 volunteers, mostly students of the University of Ljubljana. Psychosocial support to families in need
On the ZPM encounter on a daily basis more and more young people and families who need the material also psychosocial support. Children and young people through the many programs we offer (free learning aid, never alone, generations living together under kekčevih degrees of knowledge across the barriers, together we hope boomer travel, children's parliament, the bus of happiness ....). For parents, the school held for parents who do not have individual approach to the problem of the individual.
The needs are dictated by the establishment of the project therefore FREE Psychosocial support families in need, to parents, guardians, foster parents - all those who have been brought before the problems which do not manage by themselves. The experts want to offer employees an understanding of the project and help with effective advice.
The project will begin to materialize 1st March. Anyone who is confronted with hardship, family relationships (partner, children, relatives, work) and you want to solve are invited to call us and arrange for appointment. Counseling is expected to operate twice weekly on the site Proletarian 1, Ljubljana.

Mediation - my ally in conflict resolution
Mediation is a process in which one or more impartial persons (mediator) helps participants to agree on contentious issues arising from personal relationships, family, relationships within marriage or consensual union.
In mediation we want to establish a new culture of conflict resolution, where there are no winners and losers, where we take the dispute into its own hands and rid yourself of it.
When the Association of Friends of Youth Ljubljana Most-box program was set so that users have the option of mediation three times a week. Users can first inform the mediation and obtain additional information. Each day during weekdays, but can also be ordered to mediation.

Project: Symbiosis generations
All the more children living below the poverty line. All the children are more at risk in their own families, and all too many children who are not tears of sadness dried palm loving grandmother or grandfather. Because they simply do not own or having them also do not have any contacts ..
On the other hand, many experts who are isolated with their extensive knowledge and experience. They were equipped at the time working enthusiasm.
From the needs of socially excluded children and the willingness of retired professionals to help them professionally, and much more humanitarian project created Generation Symbiosis.
Its fundamental and objective - to combine generation, who have time and space are no longer favorable. Stressed the need for cooperation, equipment for children with positive values of life, respecting each other and traditions, developing understanding, philanthropy, podarjanju knowledge and wisdom. On their way to help children grow up and equipping them for life, as is the link neprecenljivost coexistence and reinforce a culture of dialogue.
All of these are able to offer their grandmother and grandfather who are willing to treasures of experience and knowledge then gift the child himself, because they know that injured children can only be equipped to lead a decent life.
The project was first implemented in August this year in a holiday home for children and young people in Villa, Kranjska Gora. Experiential or life was moderated by each other in a valuable whole. Each for himself and all of which were furnished with the need of cooperation, respect, acceptance, encouragement, need the friendship, warmth and love.
How much we want it to be continued. For life, for the future.

Never alone

And who, if not parents, creating conditions for good luck dearest beings - our children and children at all. But in an increasing number of families is not so. Children remain alone with their pain, simply because it threatens their own family. So intimidated are that you do not dare to talk about their life experiences, but do not have a suitable interlocutor. Also, they themselves are like those children whose parents work for all of the days, perhaps in an effort to survive, perhaps because they do require a weekday, obligations, responsibilities ... Who knows. Children left to their own neiznajdljivosti remain, pitfalls street ... Vulnerable to addiction, have a psychosomatic disease and many others. And much more. Many, too many of such children in recent years have all occurred in the programs of Friends of Youth Association of Slovenia. Their problems can not be resolved spontaneously, individually.
The project never alone, we designed so that children could be offered every day "replacement home" for times when their parents are not home, or when they are afraid to return home. With various activities, actions and feelings of acceptance given to the children the things they need for healthy development and can not get from a family environment and surroundings. And such children is unfortunately still more.
Objectives of the project itself never be: to provide safety for children, spend their time usefully, and to assist them in learning, thus giving you the healthy growth and development and promote a positive self-esteem.
At the same time with different activities they develop skills that will help them in solving problems encountered in everyday life, and thereby enable them to yourself once and know how to contribute to the development of a better society.
PROGRAM: creative workshops, sports programs (football, volleyball, basketball, yoga, games without frontiers ...); trips and hikes, art workshops, dance workshop (belly dance, ...); social dances, music workshops (learning to play the drums, synthesizer ...); theater workshops, film afternoons, social and cultural workshops, talks about love, love, sex ..., educational assistance, tours and sports games, discussions on all topics of interest to them, and much more , and certainly everything kids want to do.

Together we hope
Together they hope the project was conceived in order to be children and young people with fewer opportunities in Ljubljana and the surrounding area every day, offering a replacement home. " This is the time when their parents are not home or when they are afraid to return home. Through various activities, which are suitable for children and young people with a sense of acceptance, incentives ... We offer small and large wards all what they need for healthy development and successful progress in school.
That young volunteers, united in Ljubljana Moste Box ZPM constantly in action - has long been known. What had not been. These are, however, sunny people who have themselves experienced moments of relaxation, creativity, happiness and love in programs to children sensitively and carefully prepare it all together in our organization.
