The Buffalo Bulldogs are will be entering the 2011 season after coming off of their first State Tournament bid since 1991. But, this doesn't mean the Bulldogs are ready to clear their calendars for another August run. After considerable changes at the state and league level, the Bulldogs definitely have their work cut out for them. The newest version of the West Division pits the Dogs against their rivals Howard Lake and Cokato. Realignment has also added Maple Lake, Dassel-Cokato, and Hutchinson - while moving Rockford to the newly formed North Division. The Central Division has dissolved as only Hutch and St. Michael remain in Class B. While the new division creates one of the toughest in the state, Buffalo is entering the season with confidence. Buffalo is expecting all of their starters from last season to return. Also, Jon Euerle is healthy after a rib injury at the end of last year. In new additions, the Bulldogs are expecting to add two players from the recently folded Monticello team and Corey Braun is expected to be prowling the mound at Bentfield-Mills Park again. The 2011 campaign has the building of a hard fought, fun season. Every game with league teams will count towards the final total, the competition is going to be stiff, but the Bulldogs expect to be deeper than ever.
