Activity 1: Who's in class today?

Activity 2: Collaborating with Google Docs

  • Have just one person in your group Create New > Document
  • Have the same person click Share > Invite People.  Enter the username of our partner.
  • With each person on their own computer edit your document at the same time.
  • Click on Untitled and rename it.
  • In the document each of you add ideas about how you will use Google Docs. 
  • Each of you choose a signature font color for writing
  • Try the editing tools (font type, size, underline, bold...)
  • From Insert on the menu, try inserting an image, then a drawing, a link to a website,  and a comment.  Try the equation.
  • Insert a 4 x 8 table.
  • Under Tools, run spell check and do word count.
  • Invite me to be an editor (lmcswshs@u61.net)
  • Save and view your revision history.

Activity 3: Create a presentation

  • Each person in your group should Create New > Presentation.  
  • Change the title from Untitled to something else.
  • From Slide on the menu, add 2 or 3 more slide
  • Go to Format > Presentation settings > Change Theme and choose a theme.  Also try choosing a background. 
  • Choose a slide and Insert > Text and add text and format it.
  • Go to Insert > Image and add an image.
  • Save and Share (Invite your partner)

Activity 4: Build a Form

  • Create New > Form
  • Give your Untitled form a new name (Joe's survey, for example)
  • Create:
    •  one text question
    • one multiple choice question 
    • one scale question
  • Save your form.
  • Email your form to your partner
