Personal Information2010 to present Accounts Manager with a Payment Service provider Fort&Pay which is based in Lattes near Montpellier, France 2006 to 2009 Appointed Facilities Manager for 3 student residences in central London, comprising 1030 beds 18th June 2004 to 2006 Returned to London to work again for the LSE as Rooms Manager at High Holborn Residence, then Assistant Accountant at Bankside Residence, until the end of the Year. Worked as Project Manager from April 2005 on a new Residence (Grosvenor House), that was then under Construction in Drury Lane, which opened in September 2005. Returned to spend the winter at High Holborn Residence as Deputy Manager. From May I will be working on three new residences, Northumberland House (which is near Trafalgar Square), Passfield Hall (renovating an existing Residence near Tavistock Square/Russell Square), and Lillian Knowles Residence (which is near Liverpool Street Station). 4th December 2003 Back in Oz after 4 months in London. I renovated my flat in Fulham, rented it out again and returned to my old job at GOtalk/Cardcall. in Carrier Operations, working with Tesltra. 3rd February 2003 New job with CardCall as Customer Services for GOtalk Home(Residential and Business, Prepaid and Postpaid), XL Telecom (Residential), iGreen (Residential and Business) , Telecorp (IBM Corporate) and Cardcall & Global Card Services Pre-paid Telephone Cards ( GOtalk, Cardcall ) 6th July 2002 I have been working as Craft Services for Village Roadshow based on the Gold Coast, for a major new US Film, "The Great Raid" starring Benjamin Bratt, James Franco and Joseph Fiennes. 1st November 2001 I moved back to the Whitsunday area of North Queensland recently. Living in Cannonvale, near Airlie Beach, I landed a job on Novotel Daydream in the Reservations Department within two weeks. Not the highest paid job I've ever had but it pays the rent! I'll probably do this for the next three months before deciding on a future "career" depending on the Visa Application outcome. Visa or ...deportation. Airlie Beach is 1,300 kilometres further North from Brisbane where I lived for the past one and a half years, and in the same region as Lindeman Island where my Oz odyssey commenced. Until 1st November 2001 I had been living with the Fleury Household in Hendra, North Brisbane. Eric and Louise Fleury run a Catering Company for the Film Industry, so have been working for them for most of the last one and a half years, helping out Eric with the catering side, mainly it must be said with the dish-washing. I worked on three productions , a TV Series "The Lost World", loosely based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novel of the same name. This series has recently gone to air in Australia on Channel 10, having been made primarily for the American and Canadian market. I also worked on a TV Movie "Attack on the Queen" about Taiwanese Terrorists who take the QE2, including the Chinese and American Presidents, hostage. Both these productions were made on and around the Gold Coast, south of Brisbane. My last production was for RTL, German TV and their version of Survivor, Reality TV. It was called "Outback" to distinguish it from the American Series. This was filmed in the region of Charters Towers and Hidden Valley in the Far North Queensland Outback

Interests
Sports
No matter what some may say I am still hopelessly devoted to Manchester United Football Club.... A lifelong supporter since before I can remember (though I can remember supporting United in the 1963 FA Cup Final!), the highlights of this devotion were the 1968 European Cup Final against Benfica, at Wembley, and of course the European Champions League Cup Final in Barcelona, against Bayern Munich in May 1999. The latter was graced by my presence and no finer 90 minutes was ever had by me at a footie match. Needless to say United won both matches, both after the full 90 minutes had been played. The 90's saw United dominate domestic English Football, and the new decade awaits to see who will be the dominant force.

Other interest
For all my adult life I have also been passionately interested in Politics. Having studied Politics and History at Liverpool University, I joined the British Labour Party in 1975. The previous year Wilson had won two Elections, after the Miners Strike threw out Ted Heath and the Tories. Moving to Cardiff I was in Cardiff South East Constituency, which was the seat of Jim Callaghan, who succeeded Wilson as Prime Minister. It was the years of struggle, the struggle for a decent wage for the lowest paid workers and the struggle through the Anti Nazi league to throw the fascists off the Street and into political oblivion. It was also the rise of Thatcherism and Reaganism and the start of the dark 13 years of Tory misrule from 1979. I chose to move abroad in 1979, and never really went back to live in England, a path that eventually led me to settle in Australia. I have since joined the ALP here so times don't change........Due to family problems I relocated back to London in 2004 until July 2010 when I moved to Montpellier to start work with a payment service provider in lattes.
