A University of Windsor alumna, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree in 1992 and a Master of Arts in Sociology degree in 1994. I received a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology degree from Wayne State University in 2001.
My research interests focus on the intersections of popular culture with crime and criminal justice, gender and sexuality, and social interaction and communication.
