Our daughter, Rachel Cohen, gave birth to Lila Ashley Cohen on December 22, 2009.  Lila weighed 5 pounds, 1 ounce at birth.

Current status news!!

The Korman family greatly enjoyed their time at a family reunion of Amy's family in November 2010.  You can learn more about the activities at the Udman Family Reunion website.

In December, 2010, Amy and David visited Rachel, Greg and Lila in Phoenix.  Photos.

Eric is now engaged to marry Natalia.  Everyone is thrilled with the news.

Rachel completed her Master's in May 2009 from Arizona State University.  David, Amy and Eric went to the graduation at which President Obama was the commencement speaker. 

Natalia (Eric's fiancee) obtained her Master's, also in May, from Colorado State.  Natalia is currently  working at Princeton University as a researcher in neuroscience.  Eric and Natalia are living in NJ, as Eric is now a PhD Math student at the University of Pennsylvania.

David is still bike commuting to work and about town. He is employed full-time at the University of Pittsburgh working at the Pennsylvania/MidAtlantic AIDS Education and Training Center (located at the Graduate School of Public Health), and still teaching at Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.

Amy is working full-time at her regularly assigned branch of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, the East Liberty Branch, after 14 months at the Mt. Washington branch.

Java, passed away on September 14, 2009.  She would have been 13 years old in January 2010.  She is greatly missed.

Speaking of dogs- Amy and David have a grand-furchild. Rachel and Greg adopted a three year old mixed poodle from a shelter in Phoenix, Arizona where they live and teach.

David and Amy have now been married for more than 35 years. Amy could have obtained a lesser sentence for a homicide!!
