The goal of this site is to provide alumni information. This can be accomplished in a few different ways. We may just have a regular page on the school server such as http://longwood.k12.ny.us/lhs/alumni . It also may be a forum. The advantage of a forum is that alumni can discuss events, and catch up with each other. They can also create their own events. It is a great and easy way to communicate. The disadvantage of a forum is that it has to have a moderator, to make sure the forum stays orderly. We could also have a mix of both. The events get posted on the site, and each class gets a forum. I know MySpace is not very popular with the administration right now, but we could integrate it into the alumni page as a form of communication.
