Just Some Little Tidbits of Info About Hiking in the Knoxville, TN Area Home
- Great Smoky Mountains National Park is in Knoxville's back door. It's a wonderful place to hike the year round.
Here's a picture of a recent trip to the falls at The Tremont Institute.
- UT Arboretum - A fantastic 100 acres or so of trails and trees. One of my favorite places on earth. They could use some financial support, so please consider a donation if you feel so inclined.
- The Cumberland Trail is on the western side of Knoxville.
- North Ridge Trail, Oak Ridge, TN - Runs several miles on the north side of Oak Ridge. Many access points are available. Oak Ridge has many walking trails in the Greenway system; I think the NRT is my fave though. Click HERE for the Greenways of Oak Ridge web site.
