Welcome to DLR Studios
I love the way the landscape looks as we speed through it. The colors blur in such a way that makes me want to do very out of character things. The way each blade of grass becomes one giant, solid, block of green makes me want to kiss the man sitting in seat 2A. And the millions of yellow poppies that grow in abundance between every stop make me want to have children of my own. The way the light hits the lakes that we pass by makes me want to become a photographer or a filmmaker, just so I could show this beauty to others who could truly appreciate it like me. Not like these other people who see it, think it’s pretty for one moment, and then return to their word puzzle about famous Greek philosophers, but those who understand its subtle speech; its vastness and indescribable allurement. The trees even seem to be talking to me as the train weaves in and out of the unnamed forests, “I have seen many gorgeous women, Francis, but you, you are the most gorgeous” or “Francis, tell me that joke about the lonely women and small train car again. You know, the woman with the monotonous life and incurable loneliness. That was a good one.”
We are a studio. You are an artist. Lets make love.
