Did many data conversion projects at Federal Mogul when Federal-Mogul acquired new companies and had to integrate their data into the Federal-Mogul systems.  Some of the companies that I played a key role in integrating the data were:

-        Signal Stat

-        TRW after market division

Served as a team lead on many projects.  Facilitated many brainstorming sessions to come up with the best solution for the problem at hand. As team mentor, also mentored several junior team members.

Worked closely with the Sales, Inventory Control, Product Line and Accounting departments within the World Headquarters as well as departments within Federal-Mogul’s warehouse distribution centers and many manufacturing plants around the country for more then 31 years to help insure computer systems ran smoothly.  This included changing COBOL and FOCUS code and making JCL changes when necessary.  Many times this included after hour calls to get these critical systems running again as quickly as possible.

Ran disaster recovery tests on many critical mainframe applications.

Trained new programmers in ISPF/TSO, JCL, COBOL and FOCUS techniques and helped them to understand Federal-Mogul computer systems.

Worked with scheduling to put jobs into production.

Analyzed, wrote and tested many programs using COBOL and FOCUS during career.
