Worked closely
with the Sales, Inventory Control, Product Line and Accounting departments
within the World Headquarters as well as departments within Federal-Mogul’s
warehouse distribution centers and many manufacturing plants around the country
for more then 31 years to help insure computer systems ran smoothly. This included changing COBOL and FOCUS code
and making JCL changes when necessary.
Many times this included after hour calls to get these critical systems
running again as quickly as possible.

recovery tests on many critical mainframe applications.

programmers in ISPF/TSO, JCL, COBOL and FOCUS techniques and helped them to
understand Federal-Mogul computer systems.

- One of the key I.T. persons in integrating the Cooper automotive aftermarket
systems into the Federal Mogul NABS systems .
(1998-1999)
- One of many I.T. persons to ensure the Y2K conversion went smoothly
(1993) - Project Leader in
the designing and implementation of an on-line IMS part number interchange
system.
(1992) - Project Leader for
the Federal-Mogul Worldwide Marketing group, to coordinate the changes needed
in the data processing area after NTN acquired the company’s Bower division.
(1990) - One of the key
I.T. persons in coordinating a smooth integration of the data processing
functions after the Carter Automotive and Signal-Stat acquisitions by
Federal-Mogul Corporation.
(1988) - Project Leader on warehouse distribution portion,
of the integration of Sealed Power and TRW after market acquisitions. These two acquisitions combined increased
Federal-Mogul’s sales by $500,000,000.
