The following graphs are updated with results for DLI v1.3 default and -ov modes. For easier
interpretation of the results, the data is presented logarithm scaled. The data has also been
graphed on a linear scale and available in this zip archive. All the images in testset1.zip and
the Java implementation of MS-SSIM by Gabriel Prieto Renieblas at
http://www.ece.uwaterloo.ca/~z70wang/research/ssim/ were used for this comparison.
 "DLI -ov" produces the best results for all 16 images, with highest results for 62 of the 64 test cases. Kakadu and ADCTC have highest results for 1 test case each. Also noteworthy is JPEG does
significantly better relative to other codecs when using MS-SSIM as a measure rather than PSNR.
WMP on the other hand does significantly worse with MS-SSIM. Even though it averages 30%
higher compression than JPEG when using PSNR, it produces the worst MS-SSIM results in
58 of the 64 test cases.
