Bio Dj Mikeee is now seven years in the making, supporting internationals and playing at some of the biggest gigs out including the likes of Chemistry, Summadayze, Our:house, and Slinky. With reviews in the Infusion Magazine, guest appearances and sets on George FM, Upfm and BOPFM, plus playing live throughout Auckland's, Hamilton's and Taupo's clubs. Mikeee began mixing in 2002 and started playing out in 2003. He began with club residencies in Hamilton for 4 years before moving on to the big gigs and club nights through out Auckland. He picked up most of his skills watching and playing along side International dj's over from London. He's been known to mix on two turn tables and a cdj all at once; sampling, layering and scratch. He's also adapted the ability to mix in key, has over 600 records in his collection, and thousands of quantity digital media from which he's audio mastered and often re-edited, music stretching across seven genres, often including unreleased music from the artists themselves, all from which he plays via Rane's Sarato on either time coded vinyl or CD's. Giving him and the crowd an often rare and unique set musically pleasing to the masses. Mikeee's current focus is on House, Electro, Progressive, Trance and Commercial House.
Mikeee enjoys playing to large crowds and brings in many dedicated followers and supporters where ever he goes. 2009 has seen Mikeee with regular sets Chemistry, and a long with his various club nights in Auckland @ Code, Space, Cargo and more, a couple in Hamilton and new regular club night down in Taupo at Bond, 2010 has been even bigger with the Biggest Dance event of the New Year Summadayze, followed by Nite:Life, Euphoria, Our:House Hamilton, Slinky, Chemistry White, Our:house Extravaganza, AhoySlinky, Summerbeatz plus more.. be sure to catch Mikeee when he's next playing near you.     |
