Divan Center would like to invite everybody to join award ceremony for the 2nd Essay Contest. Cary Mayor, Harold Weinbrecht, will be joining the award ceremony.

The solution to fostering understanding in a diverse world is through peaceful dialogue. This is the main belief and goal held by Divan Center; to promote a world devoid of any forms of discrimination, where people respect one another for their views, religion, and culture.

At Divan Center, we know that education is essential to becoming a more civilized and healthy society. For this reason, we dedicated ourselves to educating our members. We take advantage proximity to world’s famous universities and so we invite scholars from local universities to share their thoughts with us.

Events
The North Carolina Turkish Festival is a great way to celebrate cultural diversity in North Carolina. It is one of the biggest Cultural events in greater Triangle Area. Ever growing attendance that reaches to around 5000 this year promises better Turkish Festivals coming years.

Woman's Club
Divan Women’s Club members enjoyed the “Women’s Night Out” with the friends. The event drew attention of many women; around 70 guests came to Divan.
There was Turkish Hanna Night, halay dances, live music, exhibit of a Bride’s Trousseau, hanna hand-painting and food!
