- deccan.rb - A simple ruby script to monitor air deccan sector changes ( cheap tickets are available when a new sector opens) . Requires mechanize and hpricot . Expandable to whatever .
- slackware 12.0 review : i'll keep this one short and sweet .. slackware 12 comes in a 3 CD install .. the first two having the install packages and the third one being an optional extras and sources disk. The installer is pretty much unchanged .. The biggest changes are , kernel 2.6.21 being the default kernel .. the install script installs 2.6.21- huge SMP as the default kernel .. the kernel is loaded with drivers and will detect almost all devices .. (including my via K8m800 graphics chipset ( unichrome graphics) .. KDE 3.5 is shipped as the main window manager along with the other standard options (I use XFCE) .. kde 3.5 has some real goodies like amarok and K3B . The xorg server seems to write a default conf file on install which almost never works , and xorgcfg seems to do a good job at writing a alternate conf file which works .. everything else seems to work properly . . ---[diskdump 8:13AM 15/07/2007]
