Related to squids and octopuses the nautilus is characterized by a coiled and partitioned shell. They live in tropical waters ranging down to more than 2,000 feet. (600 meters.) It's mouth is ringed by two circles of tentacles, having up to 90 in number, (WOW!) This is a low light shot of a Chambered Nautilus .
