Order of Salvation (Ordo Salutis) in the Reformed tradition
  1. Election - God's sovereign choice in eternity past
  2. Gospel Call - proclamation of Jesus' person and work
  3. Regeneration - born again by the Holy Spirit and receiving a new heart
  4. Conversion - spirit enabled faith and repentance form the new heart
  5. Justification - legal standing before God
  6. Adoption - membership in God's family the church
  7. Sanctification - ongoing growth in holiness to be increasingly like Jesus
  8. Perseverance - ongoing loving relationship w/ Jesus through the Christian life
  9. Death - soul goes to Jesus, body goes into grave
  10. Glorification - receive resurrection body like Jesus reunited with the soul
