Welcome to the Discover Islam CentreThe Discover Islam Centre (DIC) is a non-profit organisation established in 2005. (NPO No. 069-604) Our Mission at the Discover Islam Centre is to share the Beautiful message of Islam, provide multi-faceted support for new Muslims and help build a vibrant community. Our Vision is to share the true message of Islam with every soul. This work of outreach to the non-Muslim public and caring for the needs of our new Muslims is part of the Islamic duty of Muslims. In order to activate the Discover Islam Centre mission and vision we have identified 5 key areas of development: - Da’wah,
- Education,
- Revert Muslim Support,
- Skills Development &
- Financial Sustainability
Our 5 Strategic Goals are thus to:- Effectively deliver the message of Islam to all spheres of society (Da'wah)
- Provide educational courses for new Muslims and the existing Muslim community and presenting information on Islam to non-Muslims (Education)
- Provide a 'home' for new Muslims (Social)
- Create sustainable socio-economic development (Skills)
- To create a financially sustainable organization (Finance)
The aforementioned areas serve as a catalyst for implementing and steering the DIC action plan and working toward the DIC goals. Organic growth is a feature of the DIC. Steadily the organization is developing its capacity to see its vision through well into the next decade. Insha-Allah |
