In Memory Of Glenn Bell
Glenn Bell Jr, the founder of Taco Bell restaurants, died over the weekend at his home in Rancho Santa Fe. Bell was 86. He opened his first Taco Bell restaurant in 1962 in Downey, and quickly expanded to Long Beach and other areas in the Los Angeles area. Taco Bell eventually became a franchise operation, and now includes more than 5,600 restaurants serving two billion tacos and one billion burritos annually, according to company officials. So in his honor I had lunch at the local Taco Bell.

I've taken photos of the "new" Merivale Road McDonald's in Nepean at various stages of construction and waited a while to post them because I thought it would be more interesting to post them all at once. I was going to wait until the re-opening, but I've gotten requests from people who want to see how the construction is coming along, so here are the best photos of what I've taken.
