Prytanean Women's Honor Society
is pleased to announce our annual
Dinner for Ten Strangers
Prytanean
Women’s Honor Society is the oldest collegiate women's honorary in the
United States. Our purpose is to recognize scholastic achievement of
women students, foster leadership development, and perform campus and
community service. The UC Davis Chapter was established in 1952 and
currently consists of sixty five active members and an active group of
alumnae.
The "Dinner for Ten Strangers" is an informal dinner hosted by the women of Prytanean to provide an opportunity for
students, faculty, community members, and alumnae to enjoy an evening
of dining and meeting each other. As our campus and community grows,
the importance of maintaining and sustaining Davis' friendly community
spirit becomes increasingly important. The guests are seated at tables
of ten so that everyone may meet new people during the dinner.
