As a club we are working towards gaining "Clubmark" an accreditation  scheme for clubs to demonstrate that they are prioritising junior development, creating a benchmark for high quality community club cricket. In effect, Clubmark is a kite-mark demonstrating a club is well run and well managed.

As part of our work towards Clubmark we are adopting and implementing a range of policies and good practice guidelines throughout the club. All of these have the welfare or our young players at their core.

We have also signed up to the "One Game Pledge"

One Game Pledge

The One Game Pledge underpins the One Game campaign to ensure that the unique nature of cricket in England and Wales is celebrated and the whole game is accessible to all.

This pledge has been produced to prevent/tackle any potential/current discrimination or other unfair treatment, whether intentional or unintentional, direct or indirect, against players, spectators, members and volunteers.

This pledge is applicable to the game of cricket at all levels and in all roles.

Our specific pledge is "Dinas Powys CC pledge to increase the number of girls playing junior cricket in the local community".
