My name is Adam and I am licensed to teach math in Ohio.  I believe that every student has the ability to learn math if they learn to get out of their own way.  I love working with students and have always tried to find ways to make learning more enjoyable and rewarding, not necessarily easier.  There are very few things worth having in this world that aren't the result of hard work, and a deeper understanding and appreciation for math is definitely one that takes hard work.

 

I am in the Army and cannot use my teaching license/knowledge in the traditional sense.  I am trying to find new ways to share my love of math and teaching with students instead.  I have always been frustrated by the lack of technology in most classrooms and so I want to take my time off full-time teaching to develop a more comprehensive teaching toolbox.   

I have a wife, Jamie, and a dog, Levi.  Jamie and I are also expecting a son, Isaac, sometime in mid April.  We are both so excited and cannot wait.  I am also very goofy and love to have fun.  Sports are one my biggest passions, with my sports of choice being basketball, ultimate frisbee, and racquetball even though I will play just about anything for fun.
