Diana Hubbard

Welcome! I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Mathematics Department at Brooklyn College, CUNY. My main research interests are in knot theory and low-dimensional topology. This site was updated in July 2022.

My research is partially supported by an NSF LEAPS-MPS grant (2213451) titled "Braids and mapping class groups: investigating left-orders, twisting and positivity", 2022-2024.

I am a co-organizer of the CUNY Geometry and Topology Seminar.

Previously, I was an RTG postdoc at the University of Michigan from 2016-2018. I received my PhD from Boston College in May 2016; my advisor was Prof. Eli Grigsby.
