About Me
Professional Background:
I have had the opportunity to work at advertising agencies, working in the administrative, public relations and account services fields. I spent 5.5 years at a non-profit, where I was able to use my past experiences to grow and become successful in my position as a marketing manager. I also have marketing experience working in the public sector for local government and most recently, I have been utilizing my marketing skills working in the energy industry.
Educational Background:
I graduated from Towson University, in Towson, MD in May 2009 with a BS in Mass Communication with a track in advertising, a minor in English and a marketing certificate. I also graduated from Towson University's Honors College and had a high enough GPA to graduate Cum Laude. I made the Dean's list several times and received scholarships for my academic record and extracurricular activities, including volunteer work. In December of 2016, I received my Master's Degree from Wilmington University in Wilmington, DE with a concentration in Marketing Management, with a 3.97 GPA.
Personal Background:
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling and volunteering. I currently volunteer with the Volo City Kids Foundation, connecting children to free sports without barriers. In the past, I have volunteered with Paul's Place's "Kids in the Kitchen" initiative teaching school children healthy eating concepts and cooking meals together.
