- 08/2011: We met again! Shi Feng, Yue Li, Linsen Wu, Muxi Yan met with our new members Yan Xu, Xin Huang and Yanbin Lv at Houston. They had a nice lunch party at a restaurant in the China town of Houston.

- 05/2011: New DAAA members Jingchao Sun, Shaoming Chen, Jun Gan, Yuan Liu, Xiaoyang Wang will come to US to continue their graduate study in the coming fall, 2011. Welcome and congratulations!!
- 05/??/2011: Jun Ye, Jun Li and Fan Huang met again in Paris. It was the third time that the alumni of quantum information technology group at Dian group met in Paris!

The Dian Group has broad technical interests. The group has been involved in both research and industrial projects on networking software, embeded system design and implementation, wireless communication and information security. The group is a famous student research team in China, and has been subsequently covered by Chinese mainstream media. Recently a start-up company, Yu Xin Dian Shi (喻信点石), was founded in Wuhan by the core members of Dian Group. The company focuses on novel wireless communication devices and embeded systems. What is DAAADian Abroad Alumni Association (DAAA) was found on Sept. 13th, 2009. DAAA is an alumni association which formally belongs to Dian Group, under the advisory of Prof. Yu Liu, one of the advisors and founding members of Dian Group. A Dian alumni who is currently working or studying outside of China mainland will be automatically qualified as a DAAA member.
Our mission is to reunion the whole group of alumni who were members of Dian Group and are now studying/working outside of China. We inherit every spirit from Dian Group and aim to continue enlarging the international effects of Dian (and of course HUST) by our leaderships, creativity, diligent working, information sharing, as well as providing convenience and help to members of Dian Group who may travel abroad, and so on.
