Minutes of 6th Diamond State Region VCCA Meeting 6-4-2009

Meeting was called to order by Melvin Ivy at 7:00 p.m. on June 4, 2009. The treasurer’s report was read with a new balance from 3 deposits made of club dues that were paid. Melvin asked if the club wanted to pay for the food purchased for the cookout or if we wanted to pass the hat. The motion was made and seconded that the hat be passed. Enough money was collected that food and cost of pavilion was covered.

Old Business: Lynda Reiter asked that everyone turn in info on their cars for the book of our bylaws and our members with names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail info and pictures of each member with their vehicle so we can get to know each other a little better. A time limit was set for July so Lynda can try to have this done by the next meeting.

New business: Next meeting was set for Sept 11th on a Friday evening. Those that want to participate in the car show and parade the following day in Eureka Springs can. Motion was made and seconded that this would be our next meeting and outing. Melvin agreed to contact Patrick and Sandy Mooney in Harrison for a quick tour of their vehicles and 50’s room in their house that has a lot of interesting antiques. Dan has agreed to check on car show and parade times for us.

Door prizes were furnished by Cross Auto Supply NAPA Stores of Conway, Morrilton, and Russellville everyone that wanted one received a hat.

The Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.

Thanks for Your Support
