JULY 17th, 2008 - Last night, a meeting of the Diablo View Home Owners Association Board of Directors was held to discuss a proposal by T-Mobile to survey the community's central hill as the site for a cell-phone tower. Thanks to the arguments expressed by an impressive showing of concerned Diablo View residents, the Board's vote to allow T-Mobile to assess the central hill was denied. Thank you to the Board of Directors for hearing us out! 

This website was initially designed by the residents of Diablo View to provide their neighbors with information regarding the business practices of T-Mobile and their attempts to install cell towers in other residential communities across the country. The articles listed on this site discuss many of the concerns and questions that the Diablo View residents who attended the initial meetings voiced during the course of the discussion, concerns and questions which they felt were not satisfactorily answered or addressed at the time. 

We know that many other communities are facing the same situation as well. For this reason, we have left this site up in hopes that we can support other communities by giving them easy access to the information we collected in our research. If your community is considering placement of a cell tower in or near a residential area, inform yourself.
