 Wishing You Health and Happiness in 2012! There will be much in this year’s program that has a familiar feel, but the 2012 DWG Board promises some new twists on some of those regular themes, and some exciting special events to look forward to as well! Look out for new classes on offer, including ‘Bollywood Dance’, ‘Yoga ‘and ‘Raw Food’, and we will be repeating (and even developing) many of the workshops from the Conference for those of you who missed them first time around. One of those workshops is on offer on January 23rd from our Assistant Program Coordinator, Rowena Rahman , and I would strongly encourage you to bring a friend or partner along to this fun, thought-provoking and very helpful session on exploring communication styles through recognising the colourful nature of our person-alities. Our new Program Coordinator, Barbara Manson, has already been hard at work. Knowing how much you all en-joy cultural presentations, she was delighted when Mina Hayder offered to present the traditions of Bangladesh to us on January 9th. On the 16th, we have an organic farmer and retailer coming to challenge our knowl-edge of the wider influences of marketing and politics on how our food is produced; and you can fulfil that New Year’s Resolution of trying new ways to get fit with ‘Baileactivo’, a workout that combines Latin dance rhythms with aerobic activity. With many newcomers arriving in Dhahran in December, you’ll no doubt have noticed some new ladies around your neighbourhood, so why not invite them along to our Welcome Tea at the end of the month? It will give them the opportunity to connect with a range of the groups and services on camp, as well as helping them find some new friends. We’ll have special invitations available for you to give out. If you would like to know more of our plans for 2012, come along to the New Year Coffee Morning and share our excitement!
