Friday - Last Day of School - 11:10 Dismissal
The last day of school in the Union district will be Friday, May 25th.  There will be an 11:10 dismissal at the elementary buildings that day.  A reminder that no breakfast or lunch will be served on the last day of school.  

End of School Year Announcements
  • School Lunch Accounts - All student lunch accounts must be paid by May 21st.  

    There will be no breakfast or lunch served on the last day of school.
  • Last Day of School is Friday, May 25 - Students dismissed at 11:10-No meals will be served the last day.
  • 2012-13 School Registration - Registration will be held on August 8th & 9th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each day.  School will begin August 22nd for the 2012-13 School Year.  If you know of new families in the district, please tell them about this.  All students in the community should register at this time and pay book fees, purchase insurance, activity tickets, lunches and breakfast on these two days rather than waiting until the first day of school.

Thank You for Your Support of our Fundraiser!!!
Thanks to all of the students, parents, and community members who have supported our Club's Choice Fundraiser.  This special fundraiser, conducted once every three years, has helped our school to stay up-to-date with current educational technologies.  We estimate that the profits from this fundraiser will allow us to equip several more classrooms with ceiling-mounted LCD projectors and the related wiring, mounts, and installation, plus some other much-needed technology items.  Club's Choice and D-G want our customers to be pleased with their orders.  If you have any questions about the items you received or if there was a problem with your order, please do not hesitate to contact Club's Choice Customer Service at 1-877-369-9766 toll free.  They will be happy to assist you.

New to the District? Moving?

If you are moving from our district or if you know of any

new families moving into our district, please let us know.  It will help us with our planning for next

year. We would also love to set up an appointment to met any new families and give them a tour of our facilities. Even during the summer months, just give us a call at (319) 476-7110 to set up an appointment for a tour. An answering machine will be in use during the summer months when our office is closed -- do not hesitate to leave a message!
