Physical
A magical mishap has him pinned firmly in an in-between form - part human, part domestic cat. Jester was insanely lucky in that he was more human than cat when it occurred, but the changes are hard to miss. His body structure was altered, and he is physically incapable of standing as straight as a normal human, leading most to assume he simply has bad posture. He holds himself as high as he can, in order to move around with some form of ease, but it's not comfortable and leaves him prone to muscle cramps and backaches. He cannot walk on all fours either, though is an adept climber; the most comfortable position in the end is a fetal-like crouch, which tends to be the way he sleeps. Jester's biology is also a little wacky, leaving him more or less lactose intolerant and requiring a higher concentration of iron than normal humans - he has to pay careful attention to his diet. His hind feet are slightly elongated, meaning that shoes are awkward, and when he runs he does so on his toes. His hands possess retractable claws, but they do not quite fit, meaning that they tend to tear at his skin when bringing them out, and his teeth bear resemblance to a cat's. The most noticable features are, of course, the ears, the tail, and the slitted pupils. As the cat half is a blue mink tonkinese, the fur and slightly curly hair is a blue-guy, and the eyes are bright blue.

This altered physique leads to a particular way of dressing himself. In the comfort of his own home, or in the company of those who are aware of and are comfortable with his condition, he dresses more or less like a regular human, though tends to favour bright and baggy clothes. His most standard attire is baggy black trackpants, and a shirt with a bright red smiley-face hoodie thrown over top, so that he can flick the hood up in an emergency and hide the ears. His tail either dangles freely, or is tucked down one leg of his pants.

Mental
Jester suits his name. He can be, quite frankly, exhausting if you have the misfortune of being exposed to him for a long period of time, as he is a raging ball of perpetual cheer that is nearly impossible to deter. And trust me, people have tried. In a way it's rather startling that he's still alive/unmutilated, as he never seems to take no for an answer, and will push and push and push even the most threatening of individuals just for the sake of his curiousity or amusement. It is not entirely his fault - natural extroversion was supplemented by simple animal emotion, which makes him rather more manic on occasion that he might have otherwise been.

He's fundamentally friendly, optimistic to the core and full of energy. Though he reflects a cat-like air on occasion, with graceful steps and a disdainful sniff here and there, for the most part he'd be the kind of person to drape over your shoulder in a complete disregard of personal space and chatter inanely in your ear until you forcibly gag him. He brushes insults off with ease, and even physical assault will not chase him away. In all honesty, if Jester has attached himself to you, you're best to just resign yourself to the companionship.

Despite all that, Jester's not incapable of being useful or serious. He's really quite a gentle soul, and can be fiercely loyal to those he has decided he likes. He does not seek fights, because although he's annoying he rarely goes out of his way to be provoking, and never has malicious intent. He's less of a commander than amiably bossy, but in a pinch is able to think quite fast.

Author's Note
Andrew, whom I still tend to frequently call Jester outside of roleplays, began as an Espeon Pokemorph (this explains the Espeon artwork, I hope). And then things changed, as they are wont to do, and he became incarnated in this form. I blame him entirely on Absolicious, even if all the crazy similarities were honestly unintentional :D It's a happy blaming though, as he's one of the easiest and funnest characters to play.

...I know, I know, a catboy. He just didn't feel right without those feline aspects.
