Physical
Con - short for 'Convict', as dubbed by one of his companions who holds him in a less than favourable light - is an attractive man. It helps in his line of work. Brown hair, rather thin and light, is generally left to grow as it will, giving it a thoroughly disorganised appearance. His eyes are equally brown, though have the addition of an interesting pattern; they seem fractured and rough, like the bark off a tree.

One of the immediately noticeable features about Con is that he is stuck in a pair of handcuffs, courtesy of his last spree in prison. They are made of untarnished, unnaturally smooth metal, with no seams or joins anywhere. They are also spelled, so that they cannot be picked nor broken, do not rust, and severely dampen his natural Magi abilities. The chain is of a length that allows him to hold his arms a little over shoulder-width apart. As he is permanently cuffed, he cannot get his shirts on or off, meaning he is stuck in his basic prison shirt; grey, sleeveless, and high-collared. He tends to keep it clean by wriggling it off, washing it, then wearing it wet until it dries. Thankfully this is not the same for his pants, so he was free to nick a pair he actually liked. 'Liked' to Con means long, hardy, and with more pockets that you would think is practical. He applies the same criteria to his boots - thick and tough and made for longevity, as well as effective when you stamp on another's feet, but not to heavy. The final addition to his attire is a cloakish thing that is a cross between a proper cloak, and a great big chunk of material with a hole in it. It serves for warmth, extra protection from the elements, and to hide his prison shirt and handcuffs. It has a zipper that runs all the way down to the bottom so that when fully zipped up he, in his own words, 'looks like an umbrella'.

Mental
Con is not a nice person, plain and simple. He will not be openly mean or cruel, but only because it would be counterproductive to his aims. He has no traumatic past nor any real explanation for it, but his focus is on his interests and his alone. If someone looks like they'll be of use then he will be perfectly pleasant, but the moment their goals steer away from his own, they will mean nothing to him. Con appears to follow codes of honour such as earning and returning favours, but anyone who has had substantial experience with the thief knows that is more of a convenient facade that can and will be dropped at a whim.

So much of Con seems to be a facade - or perhaps none of it is a facade - that it is hard to know who he really is. He will swing from emotion to emotion in almost bipolar bursts, one moment in your face snarling, the next reclining against the wall with a vague look. He is often condescending, attaching titles like 'sweetheart', and though his arrogance really should be his downfall he is too cautious to let it.

Author's Note
The reason the description is so appallingly long compared to most of the other characters is that I had most of it typed in a Word document from when I was designing him. So I decided to save myself some work and just copy most of that. Takes a long time to describe not very much though XD
