THE SAFETY ZONE

   Come on in! Take off yer pack and pull up some dirt. There's some bottled water over there and as usual some snacks and sandwiches. If you ask nicely, I can probably scrounge out a gatorade or two.

    Coffee and some hot food is SUPPOSED to be flown in fairly soon, but you know how THAT goes so if you brought an MRE with you, Id suggest you go ahead and plan on that for supper.

    The main fire is just over that ridge and the slop-over you heard about ran off to the left over thataway. This clearing here is just under half an acre so you can rest easy tonight. But if things get too hairy for you, the black is only about 300 yards straight back from that boulder over there.

    Other than that, if you have any questions just holler but you will get properly briefed in the morning before shift.

    Until then, lets just relax and enjoy the view.
