Software Downloads for Code Labs


In order to maximise your time in the codelabs and to save internet bandwidth for others at the event,
please download the relevant software for the codelab session(s) that you wish to attend:

NB. These downloads are only required for the codelabs, not the presentation sessions.


OpenSocial
  1. Download Python 2.5
  2. Download the Google App Engine SDK and create an account
  3. Download the OpenSocial in the Cloud resource bundle
  4. Create an Orkut Account

Maps
  1. Sign Up for the Google Maps API key
  2. Install Google Earth
  3. Google Earth Plug-in installer (the plug-in supports Windows only, do not worry if you're using another OS)

App Engine
NB. A basic knowledge of Python is required for this codelab
Gears
  1. Install Gears
