We propose an innovative strategy for American aid for socio-economic development of Pakistan and in the process to invigorate Pakistani civil society and build civic institutions that will form solid foundation for a sustainable democracy. At the very least, we humbly hope to ensure well intentioned U.S. aid does not actually make things worse in Pakistan. But , the problem is we do not even know what questions to ask. Asking the right questions will enable us to properly frame the problem, that will lead to new the solutions. A revolution of the poor youth in Pakistan is all but inevitable. The only question is what ideology will they follow. Right now the only voice of change is coming from Taliban. That is the reason they are winning. We have to push for deep reforms in Pakistan. Otherwise, all efforts are simply delaying the inevitable.
