Het solidair restaurant De Steunzool is opgericht in 2000 in Halle - Belgie.

Het heeft de bedoeling om solidaire projecten te steunen over de hele wereld - van eigen bodem tot aan de andere kant.

Weliswaar kleine projecten, die niet de mogelijkheden hebben om dikke sponsors aan te trekken en een groot publiek te bereiken - maar daarom niet minder effectief en noodzakelijk zijn.

 

Meer dan 40 restaurants voor 40 verschillende projecten vonden reeds plaats. Meer dan 40.000 euro is tot nu toe bij elkaar gehaald voor deze initiatieven.

 

Het concept is simpel : 1 dagschotel aan een democratische prijs

Want iedereen moet het gevoel kunnen ervaren dat hij een project kan steunen.

Immers solidariteit betekent niet noodzakelijk pijn in de portemonnee!!

 

Laat ons weten als je een project wenst te ondersteunen en hiervoor een Steunzoolrestaurant wilt organiseren. Dan bekijken we samen hoe we dit kunnen doen.

 

Wat wij jou kunnen aanbieden voor een vrije bijdrage (incl transport)

 

Voor 100/120 personen :

- tafels en stoelen/banken (all of them are different...)

- platte of diepe borden en een bonte mengeling van bestek

- glazen voor wijn, fruitstap etc

- koppen voor soep/koffie/thee

- kleine dessertborden en dessertvorkjes en lepels

- 8 waterkaraffen

- 3 grote kookpotten

- 1 gasvuur

- tafelnapjes van verschillende formaten in mooie kleuren

- ondersteuning in de organisatie, publiciteit etc.

 

Maar we vragen...

- een concreet doel waarvoor je geld bijeen wenst te halen

- een originele locatie (een tof huis/hangar/fabriek/tuin/bos...)

- het eten is huisbereid of door een sociaal project gemaakt

- er is een vegetarisch alternatief voorzien

- er wordt geen Coca Cola geschonken

- mensen kunnen gratis meer krijgen wanneer er genoeg is

- alleen Oxfam-wijn wordt geserveerd

- het gesponsorde project is een klein initiatief

- een flyer of andere informatie moet voorhanden zijn

- democratische prijzen voor de schotels (max 8 euro)

- aanvaardbare prijzen voor drank: 1 euro / koffie-thee-water-..
  7.5 euro/fles wijn - etc.

- hulp in de organisaties van het restaurant

- feedback dmv foto s en verslagje over de besteding van het opgehaalde geld

The Solidarity Restaurant The Steunzool is founded in 2000 in Halle - Belgium.

It is meant to support all kind of little social projects around the world.

Little projects for little people - who have not the big opportunities as

big organizations to collect money and to spread their social message.

 

More than 40 restaurants for more than 40 different projects took already

place. More than 40.000 euro in total is collected till now.

 

The concept is simple : one menu for a little price to support a project.

 

Because it must be possible for everybody to support the project - no mather how much mpney you have.

 

When you want to support a project you sympathize, let us know!

Probably we will find a way to organize it together.

 

We can offer you for a little donation - transportation included:

 

For 100/120 people :

- chairs and tables (all of them are different...)

- plates and a diverse collection of forks, knives, spoons 

- glases for wine, juse,..

- soupbowls / cups for tea and coffee

- little plates for dessert + little spoons/forks

- 8 watercans

- 3 big pots and cooking material

- 1 gas-fire

- naps in different sizes and colours for the tables

- help in organization - publicity - ...

 

But we ask...

- a concrete project where the money is going too.

- an original location (a nice house/apartment/factory/stall/garden/...)

- the food must be self made or made by a social project

- there must be a vegetarian alternative

- no Coca Cola may be served

- people can ask more food when they want for free (when there is enough)

- only Oxfam-wine may be served

- the supported project must be a little project

- information about the project must be given

- the prices of the menu must be democratic (max 8 euro / plate)

- the prices for drinks must be acceptable : 1 euro / coffee-tea-water-..
  7.5 euro/bottle wine - etc.

- help in the organization of the restaurant

- feedback afterwards about the spending of the money
