Welcome to the DeSoto History Project Website created by both Alex Minch and Josh Hapner with resources gathered by the DeSoto Project class group and others who spent countless hours making this a possibility.  We attempted to make this site as easy to navigate as possible using our navigation bar readily available to the left side of the screen.  In creating this site, both audio and video were embedded using Windows Media Player.  Also, many of the files on this site are in the popular "PDF" format which requires Adobe Reader to view.  Both Windows Media Player and Adobe Reader are free to use from Microsoft and Adobe, respectively.  Links to these programs are available just below.  If you have any questions, or you wish to contribute, please feel free to Contact Us.
