The Des Moines Dance Off - The Dance Competition that Rocks!
What is the Dance Off? The Des Moines Dance Off is a regional event focused on area and state-wide talent.
A vibrant arts community adds to a
highly skilled workforce - by supporting the Des Moines Dance Off,
you are helping to support the community.
From ages eight and above, all skill
levels and dance styles are invited to tryout.
Tryout judges are from area, and
regional dance schools and organizations.
Final event judges will include leaders, dance professionals, a few "Iowa Stars" plus the viewing audience.
All proceeds to the event benefits Ballet Des Moines (a non-profit organization) in their effort to support a full time
ballet company - further rounding out
the arts community and local cultural offerings. Everyone is invited to watch both the tryouts and final event to root for your favorite dancer. Audience voting
at the finalist event will be part of the
