Information about Screw

 

Screw is something that can hold things together.

 

Screw is one of six simple machines. Usually screws were made by steel. Screw look alike a nail. But nails don’t have an inclined plane on its body. To make the screws work, we need a screw driver. The edge of a screw is a wedge because it can make something divided if we push it. There are some types of a screw. There is the big one and the small one.

 

          

 

A screw is a kind of inclined plane wrapped around a cylinder.

 

Screws are very useful to holds things together. For example we use normal size screws to hang some pictures. The screw is a very useful tool. Almost everything we have contains a screw. The edge of a lamp bulb is also a screw.
