The Runabout quad stroller comes highly recommended by many parents of quadruplets.  It is sturdy and easy to maneuver.  It can be handled by one parent, which is nice for solo outings.  It fits into a full sized van by removing the rear seat and telescoping the handle down.  For smaller vehicles such as mini vans, an external rack can be purchased, which fits onto a trailer hitch on the rear of the vehicle.  It is back heavy, so loading needs to be accomplished from front to back, and unloading needs to be accomplished from back to front to avoid tipping backwards.  It is useful until the quads are about five years old; however, the older they get, the less leg room they have (obviously).

These used strollers maintain their resale value very well because you don't find many of them on the market.  We sold ours to a family in Florida.  Runabout strollers can be purchased new at various places such as Berg Design,  Tripletconnection or other places.   We found ours used from a family in Minnesota.  Used quad Runabouts are in high demand.  Ebay is an alternative possibility for finding a used Runabout.  Some additional information can be found at Epinions.com.
