Thinking About Government
Thinking About Government: Before and After Videos is an overview of our field-research on how Americans perceive government. While the most common default view of government is negative, a more constructive perspective emerges when the discourse is framed positively. This presentation demonstrates the effectiveness of this framing with in-person interviews across the nation. |
This short presentation, Talking About Taxes, addresses how to communicate about taxes more productively. This video describes the prevailing themes in anti-tax rhetoric and includes tools to foster a more pragmatic discussion about the role that taxes play in our society. For this discussion to be fruitful, the public discourse must reconnect taxes to their purposes. Examples in this video demonstrate how this can be articulated. For more information, visit our tax research and examples in the field.
