The Parent Teacher Support Group (PTSG) is about men and women working together toward a common goal. That goal is creating a better school and a better educational experience for our children. We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers and administrators can do their best work—and so can our children. We hope you join us this year to make this school year amazing!
Muffins with Mom – RSVP Required!
Students are encouraged to invite their Mom, Grandma, or special someone to breakfast on Friday, February 10 from 7:45 to 8:35 a.m. The PTSG will offer breakfast and an activity for $5 per family. Please RSVP extended to Monday, February 6 with the number attending to delawaretrailptsg@yahoo.com.
First Annual Time with a Teacher Event!
We have had a great response to the Time with Teacher event coming on Thursday, February 16. If you bid on an event you will receive your confirmation next week. We ask that you send in your bid amount no later than February 6. If we do not receive your payment by this due date, the spot will be given to the next highest bidder. Everyone is really excited about this event; thank you for your participation.
Spring Fling News!
Plans for Spring Fling are well underway! Spring Fling is on Friday, March 2 from 6 to 9 p.m.
All classes have chosen themes for Class Baskets. Each class collects donations of items related to their chosen theme. The items are then put into fun baskets, which are auctioned off in a silent auction at the Spring Fling. For donating items, your child will receive tickets to be used at the Spring Fling! We are asking for all class basket donations to be turned in no later than February 24, 2012. Here is a list of the basket themes, by class.
Other ways to get involved with Spring Fling:
--Volunteer!! We need many, many volunteers to help with working the game stations, prizes, ticket sales, and the silent auction.
--Donate: Donations of bite-size & full-size candy bars, suckers, 2-liters of soda, and baked-goods are greatly appreciated! These items are used in some of the games at the Spring Fling. We are asking that donations of these items be turned in by February 27, 2012 (baked goods turned in March 1). For donating items, your child will receive tickets to be used at the Spring Fling!
